About the Symposium
It often happens that materials and innovation in one domain, have better applicability and sustainability in another domain. The cross-disciplinary application of materials and associated inter-disciplinary research, is the reason that researchers from all domain should gather to bring about the sustainable development. An inter-disciplinary discussion forum can spark new ideas, that can better contribute to sustainability.
Keeping in line with the Sustainable Development Goals, the first international symposium on Materials for Sustainable Development (ISMSD 2024) aims to bring together researchers, academicians and industry persons from all fields of science and engineering around the globe. The symposium will cover sessions from some of the leading experts in the field of Materials. The symposium will provide an excellent opportunity for Researchers and Academicians (specially Students) to present their work in the field of Materials and identify inter-disciplinary and cross-disciplinary potential of their work towards Sustainable Development.
The symposium also supports the India-UK Research Capacity Building project titled â??Inspiring Researchers of Tomorrow in Sustainable Concrete Constructionâ??, jointly funded by SPARC and UKIERI. The Symposium aims to enhance the exposure of young researchers and provide a platform for them to interact with their peers.
